- Marketing and Communication: We reserve the right to send marketing inquiries to the contact details provided (especially via e-mail), as well as information about website innovations, updates, and new games.
- Cookie Policy: Our website stores cookies on your device to enhance the user experience. These assist in site operation, login processes, and statistical analysis. By using the site, you consent to the use of cookies.
II. Disclaimer and Technical Conditions
The Operator does its utmost to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the service; however, due to the nature of the internet, we cannot guarantee full protection.
- Server Downtime and Data Loss: We assume no liability for the consequences of potential cyberattacks (e.g., DDoS), hacker attacks, unexpected server downtimes, or technical errors affecting our website.
- Restoration: In the event of data loss due to a technical error or attack, the Operator considers the last available, intact database backup as current and authoritative. We assume no liability for any potential loss of points or data discrepancies resulting from this, and no claims for compensation will be accepted.
- Termination of Games: We reserve the right to close, discontinue, or delete any game, competition, or service at any time without prior notice—whether for technical reasons or upon detection of suspicious activity. In such cases, the Operator bears no liability for compensation towards users.
III. Multimedia and Content
- Videos: DartsFace.com servers do not host video content. Videos appearing on the site are exclusively embedded content from the YouTube video-sharing portal.
- Reporting Copyright Infringement (Videos): If you notice any offensive or unlawful content in any embedded video, please report it primarily on the source site (e.g., YouTube) to the content owner or the platform operator, as we do not hold supervisory rights over such content.
- User Uploads (Images): The Operator assumes no liability for images uploaded by users (e.g., for the DartsFace game). If any copyright or privacy concerns arise regarding uploaded content, please report it via our messaging interface. Upon receiving a report, we will investigate the disputed content as soon as possible and remove it in case of infringement.
IV. Club Membership and Payment Terms
DartsFace.com offers the opportunity to acquire an elevated "Club Member" status.
- Benefits: Club Members are entitled to participate in unique games and use extra features in exchange for an annual fee.
- Payment: The membership fee is paid online through a secure external payment service provider. The external payment service provider is responsible for technical problems arising during the payment process (e.g., declined card, double charge); complaints must be directed to them.
- Invoicing: Following successful payment and the provision of accurate billing information, the invoice will be sent electronically to the registered e-mail address.
- Refunds: The user has the option to request a refund within a maximum of 24 hours following payment if they change their mind. After the 24-hour deadline has passed, we are unable to refund the paid annual fee, and the service remains valid for the given year.
V. General Game Rules
- Authenticity of Data: Providing real personal data is a condition for participating in games and claiming prizes.
- Disqualification: If a user provides false data or attempts to manipulate the game outcome in any way, the Operator excludes its liability regarding the awarding of the prize. We reserve the right to immediately disqualify users providing false data or committing fraud from the game and the use of the website.
- Prizes: Winners are notified via the contact details provided during registration. If the winner is unreachable within 30 days or their data is not real, they forfeit their entitlement to the prize.
VI. Specific Game Descriptions
1. DartsFace Game (Photo Contest)
- Gameplay: Costumed fans or players at darts competitions can upload their photos to the site.
- Voting: Registered users can vote on the uploaded images. A user may cast only one vote for a specific photo per day.
- Prize: The owner of the photo receiving the most votes may receive a prize. Voters' activity is rewarded with points.
- Liability: The uploader bears full legal responsibility for ensuring that the persons appearing in the photo have consented to its publication.
2. Prediction Game (Tipping)
- Gameplay: Users can predict the results of matches (winner, exact score) before darts competitions.
- Scoring: Points are awarded for correct tips (guessing the winner or exact score).
- Closing: The system automatically closes the betting option at the official start time of the given match or competition. Placing or modifying tips is not possible thereafter.
- Winners: Prizes are distributed among players who accumulate the most points by the end of the game period. In the event of a tie, a draw or other principle defined in the game rules will decide.
